This is a full time time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration range for this role starts at $59,559 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity
We are looking for a candidate with a can-do attitude to becoming a Trade-qualified Industrial Electrician. Training and upskilling through the Apprenticeship Program provides opportunity for those who are new to the water industry.
In this role you will need to maintain and ensure the effective operation of electrical equipment and systems across the Three Waters network, to achieve a high level of reliability and performance.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Full NZ Drivers Licence
- Comfortable navigating and using technology
- The right attitude and be willing to apply yourself through the apprenticeship programme
- Strong Work ethic
- Physically fit to be able to do the job
- Traffic Management, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights and practical Health and safety understanding would be advantageous

Wellington Water works in partnership with Fulton Hogan (An Alliance) to improve three water services across the Greater Wellington and South Wairarapa Regions.
