This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week
The opportunity
The purpose of this role is to provide the reinstatement of roads, footpaths, berms and other land following completion of works, with a particular emphasis on working with asphalt and concrete, while managing a crew onsite.
The role maintains a hands-on focus at least 80% of the time, leading, assisting, coaching and developing our service crews.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Hold any New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works Level 3 and actively working towards Level 4 or 10-15 years of relevant industry experience.
- Full NZ class 1 & 2 license
• Able to work reliably and independently on wide range of Reinstatements and assist effectively on complex activities - Proven supervisory skills and well-developed interpersonal skills particularly with the general public
- Ability to read and understand plans
- Ability to lead and mentor staff
- Knowledge and commitment to health and safety practices
- Knowledge of plant and equipment capabilities
- Planning, time management, organisational and computer skills including CMMS, GIS to manage work
