The opportunity
You will assist with the day-to-day operation of the drainage network, ensuring a continual drainage service with minimal interruptions. You will work on both the wastewater and stormwater networks to:
· Ensure a free-flowing wastewater and stormwater piped network
· Minimise sewage overflow and pipeline infiltration
· Install new connections, complete network repairs, and clear blockages
· Inspect and provide routine maintenance of problem areas within the drainage system
· Construct and adjust manholes and pipelines

About you
You will ideally hold experience working independently on a range of basic repairs across the drainage network as well as:
· Experience operating small plant and machinery
· The ability to use technology (i.e. iPad or tablet) to record information
· A full, clean driver’s licence is a must! Class 2, W,T,R advantageous
· An understanding and commitment to health and safety in the workplace
· You are reliable, and bring hard-working attitude
· The flexibility to work on a roster than includes shift work/standby
