Senior People & Capability Advisor

This is a fixed term position for 9 months that will partner with our digital products and services team to ensure all people and capability advice and support needs are met as they initiate and build a large technology investment programme.
Appointment remuneration will be dependent on skills and experience.
The opportunity
As a Senior People & Capability Advisor you will integrate into all aspects of an ambitious and large technology investment programme that will change the way our kaimahi work and enable capability our organisation has not previously had. You will also work alongside a dedicated People & Capability Team that work collaboratively and have a continued focus on organisation and people initiatives. In this role you will:
- Partner with People and Programme Leaders to advise on best organisation design, team structures and programme capability needs.
- Identify position requirements, position scope and create reflective position descriptions.
- Embed ways of working and support team culture and development that enables high-performance.
- Assess position size and grading (using a remuneration framework based on strategic pay).
- Analyse and report on people metrics that provide insight and advise on people related strategies.
- Apply legislation, best practice and HR policies to all people related engagements and support leaders through any employment related matters.
- Review and create offer and employment documentation and support onboarding activities.
- Support requirements for change.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- 5+ years People & Capability or HR Advisory experience.
- Change and Strategic HR portfolio support experience with a track record of robust organisation design.
- A thorough understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- A proficient understanding of information, technology and data position requirements.
- Strong interpersonal qualities and the ability to engage and provide high-level and consistent advice across an organisaiton.
- Ability to self-manage, prioritise and meet deadlines in-line with programmes of work.
- Intermediate Microsoft office product and business application capability with an aptitude towards clear and concise written and verbal communication.
