This is a 12-month fixed term position that will support organisational growth and transformation into a new asset owning water entity. The remuneration range for this position is $86,230 – $121,736 (including kiwisaver), your salary will be dependent on experience and capability.
The opportunity
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll partner with our People Leaders to source, attract, and assess great talent that strengthens Wellington Water’s ability to deliver critical water services across the region. You’ll draw on your recruitment expertise to understand team and role needs, enable smart hiring decisions, and support leaders through every stage of the recruitment journey
Day to day activity can include:
- Creating advertisements that clearly articulate opportunities and are marketed effectively.
- Engage with passive job seekers by utilising tools such as Seek Premium, Linkedin and recruitment agencies to attract passive job seekers.
- Working alongside People & Capability Leads and Advisors to support resourcing scope and recruitment initiation.
- Undertaking role briefings and build recruitment strategies that consider internal development and job market.
- Creating tailored interview questionnaires and assessments that focus on behaviour and competency.
- Supporting end to end recruitment process, compliance, interview bookings, shortlisting, candidate screening and remuneration evaluations.
- Participating in interviews and ensuring bias, inclusion and recruitment best practice are actively considered and managed.
- Ensuring candidates receive a good experience and champion the Wellington Water Ltd brand to ensure capable individuals are employed to provide good outcomes for our community and environment.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- A sound understanding of HR practice, and legislation in a change environment to provide best practice recruitment advice.
- A minimum of 3 years internal recruitment experience at an Advisory level, with additional Agency or Human Resources or Recruitment Coordination experience.
- Proven ability to build quality relationships with leaders at all levels as a trusted advisor.
- Experience recruiting to a wide range of organisational positions and ability to tailor assessments to make good hiring decisions.
- Intermediate administrative skills and utilisation of Microsoft business products.
- The ability to adopt ATS and other recruitment applications quickly and effectively plan and prioritise a workload that supports critical transformation needs.
- A good understanding of recruitment Best Practice, and applicable legislation such as Privacy, Employment Relations Act etc.
