This is a full time position of 40 hours per week, for a fixed term period of 6 Months
The opportunity
Our website and social media channels help to tell our Wellington Water story, make it easy for communities to know what’s happening with their water services and our operations, and the role we all play in improving water quality, conservation, and supply.
This opportunity is centered on a programme of work to clean up and develop process improvements to our company website. It will also include a focus on positive and clear outcomes for the end user.
You will get to:
- Develop a website style guide and content management processes
- Design and update the website structure to meet our current needs
- Engage in web writing, content editing and updates
- Delete outdated information on the website
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in managing digital platforms, with a strong focus on web management and analytics.
- Experience with content management systems, preferably Silverstripe, and an understanding of SEO practices.
- A strategic perspective that enhances the user experience
- Strong technical expertise.
- The ability to work independently and take initiative

Wellington Water is the professional water services provider across Greater Wellington and South Wairarapa. Our job is to provide safe and healthy drinking water, collect and treat wastewater, and ensure the stormwater network is well managed.
