- Based in Carterton, working in the greater South Wairarapa region
The remuneration range for this role is depending on skills and experience
The opportunity
The purpose of the position of Serviceperson Water/Drainage is to maintain the water reticulation system and to ensure a continual supply of quality water with minimal interruptions. Assist with the day-to-day operation of our Drainage networks, ensuring a continual drainage service, with minimal interruptions.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Enrolled in and actively working towards the New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works Level 3 (Stormwater and Wastewater Pipeline Construction and Maintenance).
- Driving License Class 1 and 2 (HT Full), W,T,F
- Available for afterhours work on a rostered basis
- Ability to liaise with the public in a courteous manner
- Relevant health and safety certificates, including traffic management, first aid and site safety
