This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration range for this role is $117,099 to $165,316 p.a. (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience
The opportunity
As our Network Performance Lead, you’ll take ownership of the performance of the three waters networks within your designated geographical area. You’ll monitor, analyse and interpret network performance, provide operational and technical leadership to ensure water, wastewater and stormwater assets are operating well and that customer and network issues are resolved quickly. You will guide maintenance activities, support asset planning, closely liaise with internal and third party capital project teams to ensure the network operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.
In this role, you will be the key operational decision-maker, coordinating responses, leading investigations, and driving continuous improvement across the network
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor network performance, identify risks, and lead operational responses
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance delivery and verify work completed
- Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and technical problem-solving
- Provide operational insights to support asset planning and commissioning
- Lead and develop Technical Advisors and graduates within your team

- Proven operational leadership in water operations or network management
- Demonstrated strong experience in customer service and relationship management
- Experience working in emergency and incident response
- Budget management experience / familiarity
- A background in risk management practices
