This is a full time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration range for this role is $106,892 to $150,906 with a midpoint of $125,755 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience
The opportunity
We are looking for someone who works collaboratively and can provide a view of complex issues for our stakeholders. You’ll work across our business to develop and monitor the performance of investment plans for Wellington Waters Long Term Plans and programmes, so you’ll be adept at bringing together strategic, operational, and financial information into clear products.
You will get to
- Connect across the organisation to help understand and prioritise investments
- Develop subject matter expertise in what’s needed to support the delivery of three waters services for our communities
- Work with a team to plan programmes of future investments (mostly CAPEX)
- Lead the development of key investment planning products
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, economics, strategic planning, asset management, or associated similar discipline
- 5+ years’ relevant experience (e.g. Investment planning experience or financial forecasting experience
- Be highly skilled and experienced in financial data analysis (ideally using MS Excel) that leads to good decision making.
- Experience in preparation of business cases, budget bids or economic case development including strength in cost benefit analysis
- Proven experience of working in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in presenting and facilitating cross-organisational discussions to reach decisions where different values, priorities and mind-sets are at play
