Regional Maintenance Planner (6-Month Fixed Term Position)
This position will see you deliver support to three waters planned maintenance programs and ensure that the asset data is collected, stored and utilised to optimise future planned programs.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration range for this role is $90,763 to $128,136 p.a. (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity
As the Regional Maintenance Planner, you will deliver work with the Maximo system to support the development and delivery of the three waters planned maintenance programs across the region, ensuring that the asset data is collected, stored and utilised to optimise future planned programs.
Working across Network Operations your focus will be providing close support to the councils via dedicated customer planning engineers.
You will be involved in: -
- Managing and overseeing key relationships with internal and external partners across Wellington Water, including with system support specialists internally and within our Alliance partner
- Developing effective planned maintenance programmes within the Maximo works order management system
- Providing support to Service Delivery team on planned and reactive maintenance programmes
- Monitoring the status of maintenance plans and assisting teams with follow up activities
- Assisting in the training and development of staff competency in the use of the computerised maintenance management systems
About you
Your success will come from your ability to build a wide range of relationships, maintain a manageable workload for the team and foster a culture that puts doing the right thing at the forefront.
To be successful in this role you’ll also bring:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise level asset maintenance planning tools and asset management, ideally including some experience with Maximo
- Strong computer literacy specifically with maintenance and asset management systems
- Full NZ Class 1 license
- Budget / financial management experience
- Diploma in Engineering / Degree qualification (Civil, Mech, Elect) or other suitable trade qualification
