This is a full-time permanent position working for Wellington Water in our Alliance with Fulton Hogan.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Alliance Director and working closely with Senior Leadership groups across both Fulton Hogan and Wellington Water, the successful applicant will be responsible for operational delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance across our regions three waters network. You will lead a team of frontline leaders to further develop and strengthen resource and workforce planning, group planning and performance measures and to direct programmes of work that relate to the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance of assets.
As a supportive leader you will encourage a culture that continuously improves health & safety, quality assurance, standards, frameworks and operational performance which will result in continuous improvement of outcomes for our people, our client councils and the community.
About you
To be successful you will need to come from a similar operational background and have:
- Previous experience leading people leaders with large operational teams in a civil construction or maintenance environment.
- Sound procurement and commercial acumen experience.
- Excellent understanding of Health Safety and Environment standards and requirements of a PCBU in a high-risk environment.
- Competent with Microsoft Excel.
- Effective financial planning management and reporting relating to operational and programme planning.
- Previous experience working in a civil construction, or utility service providing industry working on public networks is mandatory.
