The opportunity
You will be the customer interfacing part of our crew, attending different locations around the region to reinstate roads, footpaths, berms and other land where works have been completed to their pre-work state. This will involve a range of asphalting, concreting and general construction/labouring as you work as part of a great crew while getting to see plenty of spots across our city.

About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Asphalting, concreting, general building/construction experience
- Competence in operating plant and machinery
- A full, clean licence (minimum class 1) with WTR endorsements/class 2 preferred
- The ability to use technology (i.e. ipad or tablet) to record information
- An understanding and commitment to health and safety in the workplace
- A reliable, hard-working attitude
About us
Wellington Water is the Wellington region’s professional water services provider. We are 100 per cent council owned and funded by Wellington City, Hutt City, Porirua City, and Upper Hutt City councils, Greater Wellington Regional Council and South Wairarapa District Council.
Our councils own the water infrastructure in the region, and they task us to manage the infrastructure and deliver water services to their communities.
Our job is to provide safe and healthy drinking water, collect and treat wastewater, and ensure the stormwater network is well managed. We do this on behalf of our council owners.
