You will lead the delivery of critical water infrastructure projects to meet the needs of our Client Councils in the Wellington region.

Reporting to the Manager Major Projects within the Network Development and Delivery Group, you’ll be working to help deliver one or more of Wellington Water’s major large scale capital projects through our consultancy and contractor network safely, on time and on budget. You will ensure a robust project methodology is in place, projects are managed effectively and the community is fully engaged. You will work collaboratively with other teams and ensure strong integration across Wellington Water and will develop strong relationships with the consultancy and contractors.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop into a Project Director role. With your 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry, you will bring best practice processes to the management, planning, design and implementation of projects and programs using commercial acumen and expert project delivery capability.
